What are you going to do/examine?: Psychology
Why did you select this college?: As quickly as I stepped onto campus, I knew I wished to decide to Columbia College. The whole lot about Columbia, from the coaches to the workforce to the unimaginable lecturers, match what I wished in a college. After I visited, I felt like this might be my dwelling away from dwelling, and with the ability to play the game I like at a college as phenomenal as Columbia is one thing I’ve dreamed of.

Who would you prefer to thank?: To start with, my dad and mom and my sister for all of the alternatives they’ve given me. With out them I could not have been the place I’m right now. They’ve taken me to each event, watched each match I’ve performed and have caught with me by thick and skinny. Coach Lisa Moylan and Coach Bridget Bourke for introducing me to hockey and nurturing my love for the sport. They’ve been there each step of the way in which and I’m so grateful for his or her teaching. Coach Cathie Herrick, for (not) forcing me into the goalie function in fourth grade. She made me who I’m as a goalkeeper, and he or she has been my #1 supporter and by no means gave up on me, even once I felt like giving up on myself.
My coaches at Spalding and Warhawks as a result of they’re nice individuals and assist me get higher daily. My teammates, who helped me maintain my head up and keep optimistic. Coach Mimi Smith, for being a fantastic participant and coach who motivated me throughout my worst days, and particularly Coach Candice Russ, who helped me by my recruiting course of and has been one of the vital influential individuals in my hockey profession.
Lastly, I wish to thank the coaches at Columbia College for serving to me obtain my objective of changing into a Division 1 student-athlete. They’re unimaginable, and I’m so excited to come back to CU and play for them. This has been my dream for years and I am completely happy to be a Leo!
